This was my first Criss-Cross card and I think it turned out pretty good. All supplies are from Stampin' Up!.....Thanks for looking ~~~Rita

Lost and Found

Good Monday evening everyone. I hope you all had a super weekend. The weather here was a little chilly but at least it didn't rain. I went to a Stamping Class Saturday morning and a workshop Sunday afternoon so I have a lot to share with you this week. The card I'm sharing today is one I found the other day while going through things in my craft room. I'd forgotten all about this card and decided to share it with you. The stamp set I used is Roses in Winter, I don't remember what colors I used other than Brocade Blue. The bottom of the white was punched using Fiskars Eyelet Embossing Punch, one of my favorites. I just love the way this card turned out. Thanks for looking~~~~~~Rita

I'm Stuck in A Color Rut

It looks like these are the only color card stock I have, but never fear tomorrow I'll post another color scheme.....I promise! This time I used So Many Scallops stamp set from the SAB Mini catalog.
By the way, did you hear we had an earth quake here in Ohio? They said it was a 4.2 and happened around midnight Sunday night. I was sound asleep and didn't feel a thing. Things are getting really strange around here.......Thanks for stopping by..Rita

Earthquake???

I guess you've all heard by now that there was an earthquake in Illinois this morning. Well, I live in Ohio and I felt it here. My bed felt like it had a vibrator in it and I thought, what the heck was that? I wasn't surprised when we turned on the news this morning and they said it was an earthquake.
Today's card is the same color scheme as yesterday's except I used the Priceless stamp set on this one. All supplies are from Stampin' Up..... Thanks for looking and have a GREAT weekend.....Rita

Spring Has Sprung

The flowers in my yard are all coming up and looking beautiful. It's about time Spring finally got here.
Today's card is one I made last week when I got in a stamping mode and couldn't quit. I made about 8 cards in all. This one uses the So Many Scallops stamp set from the SAB mini. The scallops down the front of the card with the Scallop Punch as were the "bushes". I used Certainly Celery ribbon for the stems. Card Stock colors are Barely Banana, Cameo Coral, Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Rose Red and Whisper White. The layout and color combo is from Aly Schilling. This is one of my favorites. Thanks for looking..........Rita

Tried Something New

I saw this technique at Stamp Club and decided to give it a try. You stamp an image on a magazine page with Versa Mark or Gold Craft Ink. Then add embossing powder and heat emboss. Next you cut the image out and use it to decorate your card. I used the flower stamp from the Delight in Life set from Stampin' Up. I added a Rhinestone Brad to the center of the second card.

No Stamping

This is one of the cards I did with Kelly Battles' Stamps in the Mail program for April. I'm not sure but I think this might be called the Dahlia Fold. The stem and leaves on the flower is a piece of Certainly Celery Grosgrain ribbon. Card stock used- So Saffron, Glossy White and Basic Gray. The sentiment is a rub-on. This card looks so much better in real life. Thanks for looking.......Rita

Birthday Card #5

Sorry I was MIA last night. I have my Bible Study on Monday's and we ran a little over this week. By the time I got home and put things away I was just too tired to turn on the computer. This cold is taking it's toll on me. Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I went shopping Saturday and picked up a few things at Jo~Ann's, bought a new quilt for my bed and some new socks at Wal~Mart. Sounds exciting huh? The weather has been really nice the last few days and I'm thinking Spring must be coming after all. Yeah!!! OK, here's Birthday Card #5. We did this one with So Many Scallops from SAB. This is one of my favorites from that mini......

Big Bold Birthday

I haven't fallen off the end of the Earth. I just haven't had much time to stamp anything. I've been pretty busy since last Friday. I went to a stamp class Saturday and then it was off to the grocery store and then my husband took me out for dinner. Sunday I wasn't feeling all that well so I stayed home from church and took it easy all day and rested. Monday was busy with the kids and my workout at Curves. My daughter took me out for dinner to celebrate my birthday and then we went to our Bible study together. I have no excuse for yesterday except that I think I might be coming down with something. Anyway, this is one of the cards I made at the class I went to Saturday. We used Big Bold Birthday stamp set from Stampin' Up! for this one.....Thanks for looking!

FACT #32

I'm not going to make it to 100 facts. The fact is I can't think of any more. I guess my life is really dull. So, that's it for the facts.
