Sunday Morning Challenge

Good morning everyone. The kids are all taking naps so I thought I would get my post in early. This is my entry to Diane's Sunday Morning Challenge. I'm a little late with it because I just haven't been able to find time to stamp. Here's what we used for this challenge. Stamp Set-Lexicon of Love. Colors-Always Artichoke, Regal Rose and Elegant Eggplant. I followed the sketch and added an embossed background. The circle is also embossed using a small Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I cut it out and found this little white flower in my button box to attach to the center. You can click on the card to get a bigger view. Thanks for stopping in. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend. I'll be back Monday evening......Rita

This is really cute -- I love the look of dry embossing and finding that button was sure lucky -- it's the perfet accent. I will add the link in a separate post on my blog tonight! Thanks for playing (and I've been really busy too, hence only one card from me this week -- so far).

Very pretty! I always think combos like that will look yucky, but they look very nice together and that button was a perfect find! I'm sad that set is retiring - it's one of my favorites.

Interesting colors. I like them. At first I thought the flower was heat embossed, I like how you cut it out. Looks great.
